What is the cost of developing a website?

Every website is priced according to the specific requirements of that particular project. Ecommerce websites start at $4,000 while a basic site may be as low as $1,500. Due to the nature or our work and time considerations, we will usually not accept any projects under $2,000, with some rare exceptions.

How long will it take to develop a website?
For most basic business website builds we ask for at least three weeks to bring the project to completion, but the time required to build your site will depend on the type of website you require. More complex sites that require custom coding or e-commerce can take anywhere from several weeks to months.
What kind of website can you create for me?

We specialize in WordPress websites for small and medium sized businesses. If you need to sell a product or service on the web, then you are in the right place. We can create nearly any type of website you may need, from a small business site with a few pages to an e-commerce shop with thousands of products. Whatever your site requirements, we can build it with you.

What features can you include in my website?
We can likely build whatever functions and features you may need. Just send us an email if you have something particular in mind that you are looking to create. Custom software development is available so lets talk about what you / your business needs.
What is your experience in developing websites?
Ice & Fire Digital has been around as a company since 2014, but the founder is a hard core code monkey who has been building websites and software since 1998. Whether is is custom PHP programming, e-commerce powerhouses, or SEO you need, we have plenty of experience and expertise to get your job done.
Can you show me examples of websites you have developed?
Certainly! Just drop us an email and we will send you links to some of our most recent projects. We stopped posting links to our work a long time ago, as companies come and go, along with their websites. Especially during Covid. So write and we will send you some.
Will my website be responsive and mobile-friendly?

In a word: Absolutely. A website must be usable for your visitors on any screen size and resolution. We usually build in a “mobile first” mindset, meaning that we build for mobile and tweak for larger screens later. Except when we are dealing with a product or service that attracts a larger majority of large sceen sizes. 

What content management system will you use to develop my website?
We develop solely with WordPress (unless the job requires something else) and usually use Divi for the framework. If you need another CMS ask us. We can likely oblige you no matter what your requirements are. If you need a static html site, we can take care of that for you as well.
How will you optimize my website for search engines (SEO)?
All sites we build are considered “SEO Ready”. That means that they are technically sound and have tools in place to enable quickly starting the process of doing optimization of the site, such as Rank Math SEO which is our plugin of choice. However, optimization itself is an entirely separate project (usually) than the initial website build. Can you integrate social media platforms into my website?
Yes, we can link to your platforms as well as use other, more engaging integration methods if you would like. You may want to display your latest Facebook or twitter posts in your site, or have new content auto posted to your platforms. Just let us know what you have in mind when we begin your project.
Will you provide website maintenance and support after development?
We always offer 30 days of support during which time we will take care of any bugs or minor tweaks and changes. After that point we offer various levels of maintenance and support in our site care plans. Most clients prefer to take advantage of these services so they do not have the stress and worry about keeping their site updated and secure. Our larger packages also offer site content updates and other management features. Of course we also offer fully managed hosting plans at Ice & Fire Hosting.
Can you provide hosting services for my website?

Yes, we offer several managed hosting plans. Take a look around our hosting site, Ice & Fire Hosting and read more on the packages available and what they include. Even our basic plans are fully managed, providing regular plugin and WordPress updates, security scans, daily site backups and much more. We use Litespeed Enterprise webservers, providing you with a fast, reliable hosting environment, and although we only offer managed hosting services, you will still have full cPanel access, giving you full control of your account.
